The Ortles Screw is a robust screwgate biner designed to offer lightweight versatility. As a personal locking carabiner, it’s ideal for connecting anchors or clipping into a belay station.
Its carefully engineered design features a tapered keylock nose that prevents snagging and a large gate opening to give improved handling to receive a clove hitch or when clipping and unclipping.
The shape-optimized aluminium construction ensures the best possible use of material – saving both weight and resources, whilst maintaining the highest protection standards. And the broad inner rope bearing surface delivers greater durability.
